The Duke University AERO (Aviation Engineering Research Opportunities) Society, a chapter of the American Institute for Aeronautics and Astronautics, is a student organization that aims to expand involvement in aeronautic and aerospace research and education on campus. The group sponsors projects to increase academic as well as hands-on opportunities for students with interest in the field. Additionally, AERO/AIAA connects its students with faculty members and professionals in the field for educational and networking purposes.
